After quite a bit of time and a temporary change of residence - the sewing machine has finally been set up and the awaited dolls are complete. One of the two will be in the etsy shop in the next couple days (along with a blue haired gal who isn't quite in one piece yet).
Samantha over at Woodland Woolens has asked me to do an interview and I'll be doing a doll giveaway to go along with it. So go check out the interview - and her lovely lovely blog - and enter the giveaway for a custom doll!
To be entered in the drawing for a custom doll, please let Samantha know that you are following her blog (you can leave a comment over at the interview) and do the same here on my blog. For additional entries you can also "like" us both on our facebook pages - Woodland Woolens and Circus Angel.
I'm busy working on quite a few custom doll orders right now, and since I generally make two dolls for people to choose from, I'll be listing the extra dolls in the shop as I go. But this little bluebird doll is one that I was inspired to start quite a while back and finally finished up while I was waiting for a new wool order to arrive. I love her and had a lot of fun making her. I was tempted to go crazy and totally cover her with the little handstitched feathers, but time and therefore the subsequent cost... maybe sometime.
Hair: bright blue
Body: ultrasoft blend of cashmere, lambswool and angora
