Here it is, the eve of July (the purported beginning of summer in Montana) and after nine long months of waiting for summer to return - we're leaving for the summer!
For reasons primarily out of our control, we're heading to Portland, Oregon for the next two months at least - not for pleasure, but I hope it will at least prove to be a positive and healing experience - I'll leave it at that. And there are certainly worse places to be stranded.
I'll be setting up shop in our apartment there and cranking out - I mean lovingly sewing - as many dolls as possible. To pay the bills, take us to 3 dollar second run theatres, a bit of thrift shopping, the occasional food cart, flowers for the kitchen table, stamps for postcards and packages, supplies for crafting. (The beginning of a Portland to do list...) We leave Tuesday, after about a week and a half's notice, and I still have an enormous amount of work to do before then! So I better go get to it.
Hello!
I am the artist who made the 'Great Adventure' print and I appreciate you linking it to my website! I am based out of Portland and it is a pretty great city :) Hope you enjoy!
